Big Score Kicks Off Country Footy and Netball in 2025
Even more clubs are set for early wins in season 2025 thanks to a new round of Victorian Government grants to replace or upgrade their home ground facilities.
Seven facilities are set to share in more than $1.4 million from the Country Football and Netball Program, with a new round of the program now also open for applications.
Successful applicants from the most recent round include the Bass Coast, Campaspe, Indigo, Moira, and Yarriambiack Shires and Wangaratta City Council.
The 2025-26 Country Football Netball Program is open now with rural, regional and outer metropolitan councils eligible to apply for grants of up to $250,000 towards sports infrastructure developments including court and lighting upgrades, change room overhauls, new pavilions and more, to benefit local clubs and communities.
Applications close on 7 July 2025.
Only rural and regional Victorian Local Government Authorities (LGAs) are eligible to apply directly to the program.
Regional Sports Assemblies, sport and recreation clubs, sporting associations and leagues, educational institutions, community organisations, disability service providers, businesses and individuals cannot directly apply to the Fund.
However, an Expression of Interest Form (for RSAs/clubs) has been developed to help progress applications if LGAs wish to use this.
RSAs, local clubs and organisations are advised to contact their LGA if they wish to express interest, seek support, or be involved as a partner in applications to the fund.
