Leisure Networks Receives Funding for All Abilities Participation and Employment

Regional Sport Victoria congratulates Leisure Networks on being named one of two organisations to share $5 million in funding from the All Abilities Workforce and Sector Support Program 2024-27.

Leisure Networks, one of nine Regional Sports Assemblies (RSAs), will use the grant to help increase participation and employment in sport for people with a disability in regional and rural Victoria.

Leisure Networks hopes to expand networks and provide more opportunities for individuals with disabilities to secure jobs and increase participation in the sports and recreation sector.

David Meade, CEO of Leisure Networks, expressed his excitement about the project:

“This is an incredible opportunity for us to create generational change across regional Victoria. Our goal is to break down barriers to participation and employment in sport, advancing Active Victoria’s vision of a thriving, inclusive, and connected sport and active recreation sector.”
